Apricot Shrubs
What began as a unified community of people from South Night City coming together to defend their home during the siege at the tail end of the Fourth Corporate War has much like everything else left over from before the time of the Red, Began to rot. The once collective social ecosystem living in this pre-war apartment building has become like the blocks of gang turf that make up the combat zones just stacked up on top of each other, a series of microbiomes constantly in flux. Once held together by a respected man who kept the peace...he's gone now, replaced by Skud and who knows what the other bosses of the Shrubs are planning.

Binkers
Not quite under the overpass, squatting in the shadows of two other buildings is the rain streaked and stained exterior of a bar, a bar called Binkers, nobody remembers why. You might think it’s a diner at first, maybe it was, once. Checkerboard floor in black and white stained with years of neglect and improper cleaning, the walls, white from floor to the waist-high checker tile pattern, green above, and splotched with grease stains and watermarks in irregular shapes. There’s a ceiling above the smoke haze, a single ceiling fan revolves slowly, too slowly to really move the smoke. There’s a jukebox here, some net-jockey a long time ago reprogrammed it with an NCPD look-up, plays Chuck Berry “Ridin’ along in my automobile” whenever a cop walks in. Why that song? Nobody remembers. It’s got a row of booths along one wall, high backed, Formica tables, seats along a table before the windows, big broad cafe style windows. And stools along the cafe counter, err bar. Lug’s a fixture, big slab of bald beef, scarred dome, and wall eyes. Wiping away at his glass. Behind him, a dusty mirror with booze in front of it, a Steering wheel from a Porche 911, and an oar. The walls have little pictures arranges in crossing diagonals, some faded or water damaged. There’s a mens and women’s watershed here too, and the door through to the out back area where the food is assembled by a guy named Sal. Nobody ever sees Sal. Binkers, where nobody knows your name, and that’s the way they like it.
Visitors in the future will find Lizzies standing on this spot.

The Rusty Knuckle
Old Japantown isn’t exclusively a Japanese themed place, not anymore. in 2028 a Night City Solo by the name of Shining Fist Crushing Boulder found an old space in the basement of a ruined building, he opened a small bar for himself and his friends. Soon word spread, a haven from the outside where you could get a drink and relax for a bit. It became known as the Shining Knuckle. But the Outside has a way of dragging its problems in, like a cat with a dead rat. And Shining Fist Crushing Boulder wasn’t as quick on the draw as he used to be. Soon he was gone, and the name changed. Ownership has passed from person to person, gang to gang. No-one with any class or standing comes here, unless they need some disposable incompetent bodies for cheaper than cheap. That’s what they say, but if you’re caught out in Old Japantown, and you need a break, or to get out of the Bloodrain. You’ll go. If you know where it is, there isn’t a sign.
