This campaign follows a group of mutants who enlisted, or were conscripted, into the Department of Mutant Verification. A sinister government agency responsible for all mutant crime.

The SotDMV series peels back the curtain on some behind the scenes until now detail on the Earth-60 setting. Allowing the players to learn some hidden secrets behind the workings of things, at least how the government THINKS things work.

The DMV, like all government agencies, is a lumbering out of date behemoth unsuited for the modern era.

The students are brought to a secret facility underground and introduced to technology far beyond the level of tech in the regular world of Earth-60. They are classified and catagorised and slowly introduced to the secret behind the scenes workings of evil big government.
